Closing plenary assembly of the first international meeting of the Diffuse University: a project that fosters a dialogue between the official knowledge of academics and the traditional knowledge of the farming and artisanal world.

Followed by a presentation, given by the participants and the delegates, outlining the ideas that emerged from the five topics of discussion:

  1. The Non-Academic Knowledge: how to recognize it, valorize it and validate it
  2. The Diffused University as an open and ongoing network
  3. The Experience of Travel: one of the main pillars of Diffuse University
  4. TheWorld of Work, the Enterprise and Academia: how to build synergetic relationships
  5. Food Activism: how the civil society can share the path with academia

Among the speakers: Prof. Nicola Perullo, Diffuse University Scientific Director and Carlo Petrini, President of the University of Gastronomic Sciences and Slow Food International.
